I was almost not going to submit this.... but then I realized that I really liked the softness and simplicity in this one, almost ethereal, as opposed to the other shots that I am submitting.
Dark clouds over Great Sand Dunes NM, Colorado, early in the morning. Some slight burning and dodging to make it more dramatic... I hate doing that to already good landscapes. I think it definitely improved it though. The softness of the focus is intentional. Or rather... it is now. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. For most shots I don't really have a reason for shrinking them so small, but for this one, the focus was kinda off... and it wasn't a very detailed image anyways, so I shrunk it pretty small.
