I was almost not going to submit this.... but then I realized that I really liked the softness and simplicity in this one, almost ethereal, as opposed to the other shots that I am submitting.
Dark clouds over Great Sand Dunes NM, Colorado, early in the morning.
Some slight burning and dodging to make it more dramatic... I hate doing that to already good landscapes. I think it definitely improved it though.
The softness of the focus is intentional. Or rather... it is now.
fantastic and smooth, it has all the essential ingrediants, good light, great content, nice curves and is really well suited to b&w. this is such a great shot (but i still want bigger )
For most shots I don't really have a reason for shrinking them so small, but for this one, the focus was kinda off... and it wasn't a very detailed image anyways, so I shrunk it pretty small.
